Today we celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine, a day that symbolizes the unity of Ukraine. It reminds us that we are all one majestic unconquered Ukrainian people.
On January 22, 1919, by the proclamation of the Unification Act (Act Zluky) of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic it was declared the unification of Ukrainian lands into a single independent state and demonstrated the desire of Ukrainians to live in one indivisible state. For Ukrainians, the main need is to be together, to be united.
Today, unification for us means de-occupation of all Ukrainian territories seized by the enemy. For the sake of this goal, we all gathered and help our defenders bring the day of victory closer. The whole world saw our unity and mutual assistance in the struggle for the freedom of our native land.
We believe in a happy future for our unified and independent state. We work together for this.
