HCJ rejected in dismissal of a judge taking into account the recommendation of the HQCJ of Ukraine

The HCJ on April 18, 2023, rejected in satisfaction the submission of the HQCJ of Ukraine on dismissal Hrystyna Ishchenko from the office of judge of the Kazankivskyi district court of Mykolaiv region by the results of the qualification assessment.

The HQCJ of Ukraine came to the conclusion that the judge did not comply with the position she held, without giving an assessment of the judge's arguments about the presence of significant obstacles to her proper performance of the task, which put the exam participants in unequal conditions.

HCJ dismissed eight judges

On April 18 and  April 20, 2023, the HCJ decided to dismiss due to their submission of applications for resignation:

  • Khudyk Mykola Pavlovych and Hladii Stepan Vasyliovych – from the office of judges of the Kyiv court of appeal;
  • Hladich Nataliia Ivanivna – from the office of judge of the Liubeshivskyi district court of Volyn region;
  • Iliin Oleh Volodymyrovych–  from the office of judge of the Eastern appellate commercial court;
  • Slynko Serhii Stanislavovych –  from the office of judge of the Supreme Court.
  • Bakumenko Anna Valeriivna – from the office of judge of the Kramatorskyi city court of Donetsk region (seconded for administering justice at the Kyivskyi district court of Kharkiv);
  • Parandiuk Tetiana Stanislavivna – from the office of judge of the Ternopil court of appeal;
  • Barbashova Silva Viktorivna – from the office of judge of the Eastern appellate commercial court.

The HCJ agreed on the expenses redistribution among courts, the SJA of Ukraine and its territorial administrations

The HCJ, during its session on April 18, 2023, agreed on the redistribution of budget expenses between courts, the SJA of Ukraine and its territorial administrations.

The HCJ approved the schedule for holding interviews with candidates for the position of the HQCJU member

The HCJ will broadcast interviews with candidates in real time and publishes video recordings of interviews on the Council’s official website immediately after the interview with the candidate is completed.

 

MES of Ukraine has changed the date of holding the congress of representatives of legal higher educational and scientific institutions

The date of holding the congress of representatives of legal higher educational and scientific institutions, planned for April 21, 2023, has been changed.

The congress of representatives of legal higher educational and scientific institutions will be held on June 2, 2023, at 11 AM, on the basis of the State University of Trade and Economics (Kyiv, Kioto street, 19).

Territorial jurisdiction of court cases of 10 local courts of Kharkiv region was changed

On April 20, 2023, the HCJ decided to change since May 1, 2023, the territorial jurisdiction of court cases of certain courts of Kharkiv region.

The territorial jurisdiction of cases of ten local courts of the Kharkiv region has been changed and determined for the following courts:

  • the Kupianskyi city district court of Kharkiv region – to the Chervonozavodskyi district court of Kharkiv;
  • the Izium city district court of Kharkiv region, the Pechenizkyi district court of Kharkiv region, the Borivskyi district court of Kharkiv region – to the Dzerzhynskyi district court of Kharkiv;
  • the Vovchanskyi district court of Kharkiv region, Velykoburlutskyi district court of Khrakiv region – to the Chuhuiivskyi city court of Kharkiv region;
  • the Shevchenkivskyi district court of Kharkiv region, the Dvorichanskyi district court of Kharkiv region – to the Ordzhonikidzevskyi district court of Kharkiv;
  • the Balakliiskyi district court of Kharkiv region – to the Kominternivskyi district court of Kharkiv;
  • the Zolochivskyi district court of Kharkiv region – to the Derhachivskyi district court of Kharkiv region.

The work of the Barvinkivskyi district court of Kharkiv region has been resumed

On April 20, 2023, the HCJ decided to resume the work of the Barvinkivskyi district court of Kharkiv region since May 1, 2023.

The term for granting consent by judges to be seconded to four courts has been extended

By its decision of April 18, 2023, No. 380/0/15-23 the HCJ extended the term for granting consent by judges for seconding one judge to the Ustynivskyi district court of Kirovohrad region till April 28, 2023.

Also, by its decision of April 20, 2023, No. 395/0/15-23No. 396/0/15-23No. 398/0/15-23  the HCJ extended till May 1, 2023, the term for granting consent by judges to be seconded to:

Judges, who expressed the wish to be seconded to the mentioned courts, must submit to the HCJ the necessary documents.
