The HCJ responded to the report of judge of the Prymorskyi district court of the city of Odesa on interference in her professional activities

The judge of the Prymorskyi district court of the city of Odesa, Larysa Yershova, informed the HCJ about interference with the activities of a judge in the administration of justice. The judge pointed to the forgery by unknown persons of the decisions of investigating judge of the Prymorskyi district court of the city of Odesa Yershova L.S. in the case of seizure of funds. She noted that there was no such case in the proceedings of the Prymorskyi district court of the city of Odesa and, accordingly, no court decisions on this case could exist.

The HCJ decided to address the Prosecutor General’s Office on providing information on disclosure and investigation of a crime in criminal proceedings, entered to the URPI by part one of Article 358 of the CC of Ukraine by facts, reported in the notification of the judge of the Prymorskyi district court of the city of Odesa, Larysa Yershova.

The date of the All-Ukrainian Conference of Prosecutors has been determined

The IV Extraordinary All-Ukrainian Conference of Prosecutors is scheduled for February 28, 2023. The issue of electing two members of the HCJ was brought up for its consideration.

Selection Commission made a schedule for an interview for the position of a member of the HQCJ of Ukraine for January 2023

The Selection Commission for the selection of candidates for the position of a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine will conduct the second stage of the competition – interviews with candidates in January and February 2023. The Commission made a schedule of interviews for February 13-21, 2023, that is published on the HCJ website.

A new division has been established in the Secretariat of the HCJ – the Disciplinary Inspectorate Service

On February 7, 2023, the HCJ approved changes to the structure of the Secretariat of the Council. The changes provide for the establishing of a separate independent unit in the Secretariat – the Disciplinary Inspectorate Service of the High Council of Justice.

The Disciplinary Inspectorate Service as an independent structural unit is created to exercise the powers of the HCJ on the administering disciplinary proceedings with regard to judges and operates on the principle of functional independence from the Council.

The HCJ took decision on dismissal of four judges of their own free will

On February 9, 2023, the HCJ decided to dismiss in connection with the submission of applications for dismissal of their own free will:

  • Didek Mariia Bohdanivna — from the office of judge of the Polonskyi district court of Khmelnytskyi region;
  • Antsupova Tetiana Oleksandrivna — from the office of judge of the Civil Cassation Court within the Supreme Court;
  • Bondarenko Hanna Vitaliivna — from the office of judge of the Synelnykivskyi local-district court of Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Zhyzhka Olena Valentynivna — from the office of judge of the Ovidiopolskyi district court of Odesa region.
