The HCJ took decision on dismissal due to submission of applications for resignation of:
- Blazhko Iryna Oleksiivna – from the office of judge of the Shevchenkivskyi district court of the city of Poltava;
- Piliuhina Olena Mykolaivnaу – from the office of judge of the Kharkivskyi district court of Kharkiv region;
- Vasylchenko Iryna Petrivna – from the office of judge of the Circuit administrative court of Kyiv;
- Ishchenko Inna Mykolaivna – from the office of judge of the Petrykivskyi district court of Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Smyk Svitlana Ivanivna – from the office of judge of the Pecherskyi district court of Kyiv;
- Shtulman Ihor Volodymyrovych – from the office of judge of the Sixth administrative court of appeal;
- Yuzikov Stanislav Heorhiiovych – from the office of judge of the Economic court of Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Sinitsyn Eduard Mykolaiovych – from the office of judge of the Siverskodonetskyi local court of Luhansk region (seconded to the Shevchenkivskyi district court of the city of Poltava;
- Shevchuk Liliia Yaroslavivna – from the office of judge of the Volynskyi court of appeal;
- Maibozhenko Anna Mykolaivna – from the office of judge of the Obolonskyi district court of Kyiv.
HCJ will make submission to the President of Ukraine on appointment of 10 judges to courts of appeal
The HCH took decision on making submissions to the President of Ukraine on appointment of Tsiselskyi Oleh Volodymyrovych – to the position of judge of the Southern-Western economic court of appeal, and on appointment to the positions of nine judges to the Mykolaivskyi court of appeal:
- Korsanenkova Olena Oleksandrivna;
- Harskyi Oleksandr Viacheslavovych;
- Charychanskyi Povlo Oleksiiovych;
- Chervonenko Dmytro Valeriiovych;
- Tokariev Artem Gennadiiovych;
- Fortuna Tetiana Yuriivna;
- Hlubochenko Serhii Mykhailovych;
- Kruhlikova Alla Viktorivna;
- Temnikova Aliona Oleksandrivna.
EU Project Pravo-Justice implemented by Expertise France, together with the Office of the Deputy Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the High Council of Justice has produced and published a series of public awareness videos on the key changes set out in the Rule of Law Roadmap.
The public awareness short videos are designed to explain to citizens, in simple and clear language, what impact the reforms in the area of the rule of law will have on their daily lives. These are changes intended to make justice more accessible, court procedures more understandable, and the protection of human rights more effective.
The series covers the five key themes of the Roadmap: digitalisation of justice; enforcement of court decisions; right to defence; judicial independence; and protection of whistleblowers.

High Council of Justice and the Council of Europe discussed key areas of judicial reform and execution of ECHR judgments
On June 23, 2026, a meeting between a delegation from the Directorate for Human Rights of the Council of Europe and members of the High Council of Justice took place to discuss the state of implementation of the Council of Europe’s human rights judgments concerning Ukraine, in particular unresolved issues related to ensuring the independence of the judiciary (the “Denisov/Golovchuk” cases).
The meeting took place as part of the visit to Ukraine by the Director of Human Rights at the Council of Europe, Ms Clare Ovey. The aim of the visit is to discuss with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities current issues relating to cooperation between Ukraine and the Council of Europe, in particular regarding the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the realization of technical cooperation programmes.
During the event, Hryhorii Usyk, Chairman of the High Council of Justice, emphasized that Ukraine’s judiciary is consistently pursuing the state’s course of European integration and implementing the standards of the Council of Europe in the field of justice.

HCJ dismissed judge of the Donetskyi circuit administrative court, who, by results of qualification evaluation was recognized as such, who does not comply with the office held
On June 25, 2026, the HCJ at its session decided to dismiss Olena Halatina from the office of judge of the Donetskyi circuit administrative court based on sub-item 4 of item 16¹ Chapter ХV “Transitional provisions” of the Constitution of Ukraine.
The decision was made according to the submission with recommendation from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, which stated that by the results of qualification evaluation of judges of local courts Halatina Olena Oleksandrivna was recognized as such who does not comply with the office held.
Judge of the Sadhirskyi district court of the city of Chernivtsi, Andrii Triska temporarily suspended from the administration of justice based on decision of the First Disciplinary Chamber of the HCJ
The decision to bring the judge to disciplinary liability and impose disciplinary sanction in the form of submission on dismissal from office was adopted by the First Disciplinary Chamber of the HCJ on June 29, 2026.
