
The HCH dismissed five judges for resignation
On March 21, 2023 the HCJ decided to dismiss under submission of applications for resignation:

Tereshchenko Dmytro Volodymyrovych – from the office of judge of the Kirovohradskyi district court of Kirovohrad region;

Bryntsev Oleksii Vasyliovych – from the office of judge of the Economic court of Kharkiv region;
-
Marishchenko Larysa Oleksandrivna – from the office of judge of the Economic court of Zhytomyr region.
On March 23, 2023 there were dismissed under submission of applications for resignation:
-
Kadietova Olena Veniaminivna – from the office of judge of the Higher specialized court of Ukraine for civil and criminal cases;
-
Kononykhina Nataliia Yuriivna – form the office of judge of the Derhachivskyi district court of Kharkiv region.
The HCJ terminated the resignation of judge Tetiana Shypovalova in connection with her acquisition of foreign citizenship
The fact that Tetiana Shypovalova acquired citizenship of the russian federation and passport of a russian citizen was established, that is the ground for terminating her resignation (clause 3, part 1, Article 145 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”).
Procedure of secondment judges to two courts has begun
According to decisions of the HCJ dated March 21, 2023 № 240/0/15-23 and dated March 23, 2023 № 253/0/15-23 it was announced by the HCJ about the beginning of the procedure for seconding judges to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice, in particular, four judges to the Zarichnyi district court of Sumy and three judges to the Suvorovskyi district court of Odesa.
Judges who expressed the wish to be seconded to mentioned court should submit to the High Council of Justice within ten days (from the date of the announcement of the beginning of the procedure for seconding judges) necessary documents.
77 judges were dismissed in January-February 2023
During the first two months of 2023, the HCJ decided to dismiss 77 judges from their positions for general grounds: 70 judges were dismissed under submission of applications for resignation, 7 judges were dismissed under submission of applications for dismissal on their free will.
In total, since the beginning of the work of the plenipotentiary composition of the HCJ as of March 23, 2023, 99 judges have been dismissed for general grounds.
Activities of the HCJ Secretariat in figures for January – February 2023
833 appeals from citizens and 77 requests for information were considered by employees of the Secretariat of the High Council of Justice during the first two months of 2023; there were prepared 286 cover letters on sending copies of the acts of the HCJ and its bodies; 651 copies of the acts of the HCJ, its bodies and members of the HCJ were issued; 2845 pages of draft documents of the HCJ were edited. For the period more than 2461 appeals from citizens were received to the HCJ hotline at the telephone number: (044) 481-06-26.
On March 23, 2023 by it decision № 254/0/15-23 the HCJ extended the term to give consent to a secondment of one judge to the Luhynskyi district court of Zhytomyr region until April 4, 2023.

Member of the HCJ Oksana Blazhivska took part in a round table meeting on problem issues on economic legal proceedings during the war
In her address, Oksana Blazhivska, in particular, called on representatives of all branches of power to unite and make maximum efforts to create proper conditions and protect constitutional judicial guarantees and preserve the integrity of the judicial system.
Oksana Blazhivska noted that the HCJ considers formation of the HQCJ of Ukraine among the top priority tasks. The problem of restoring the disciplinary function of the High Council of Justice is equally important.
