The HCJ partially satisfy the petition of the Deputy Prosecutor General and temporarily, until June 27, 2023, suspended judge of the Poltavskyi district court of Poltava region (seconded from the Berdianskyi local-district court of the Zaporizhzhia region) Larysa Bohomolova from the administration of justice in connection with the bringing to the criminal liability. Bohomolova L.V. is suspected of committing a criminal offense provided for in the second part of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely high treason,
Activities of the HCJ Secretariat in figures for January-April 2023
1731 appeals from citizens and 149 requests for information were considered by employees of the Secretariat of the High Council of Justice from the beginning of 2023. 1076 appeals from citizens were received to the HCJ hotline at the telephone number: (044) 481-06-26.
During January-April of 2023,by the Secretariat of the HCJ there were prepared 771 cover letters on sending copies of the acts of the HCJ and its bodies; 1868 copies of the acts of the HCJ, its bodies and members of the HCJ were issued; 7103 pages of draft documents of the HCJ were edited.
More than 140 judges have been dismissed since the beginning of 2023
During the four months of 2023, the HCJ decided to dismiss 143 judges from their positions for general reasons: 132 judges were dismissed under submission of applications for resignation, 11 judges were dismissed under submission of application for dismissal on free will.
During January – April 2023, the HCJ received 55 notifications on interference in the professional activity of judges regarding administering justice and actions that violate guarantees of independence of judges or undermine the authority of justice. Taking into account notifications that were received in previous periods, the HCJ has considered 89 notifications from judges since the beginning of this year.
The HCJ dismissed nine judges for resignation
On May 9, 2023, the HCJ decided to dismiss under submission of application for resignation nine judges (of which seven are judges of the courts of appeal, one judge of the Supreme Court and one judge of the district court of Kyiv):
Ihnatchenko Nina Volodymyrivna – from the office of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal;
- Malichenko Vasyl Volodymyrovych – from the office of judge of the Poltava Court of Appeal;
- Panchenko Olha Mykhailivna – from the office of judge of the Third Administrative Court of Appeal;
- Makhlai Liudmyla Dmytrivna – from the office of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal;
- Oksiuta Taras Hryhorovych – from the office of judge of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv;
- Savchenko Serhii Ivanovych – from the office of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal;
- Shtelyk Svitlana Pavlivna – from the office of judge of the Supreme Court;
- Pavlenko Oksana Petrivna – from the office of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal;
- Khil Larysa Mykolaivna – from the office of judge of the Poltava Court of Appeal.
The HCJ, by its decision № 485/0/15-23 dated May 9, 2023, extended the period for the judges to give consent to the secondment of two judges to the Leninskyi district court of the city of Kirovohrad until May 19, 2023.

Procedure of secondment judges to Olevskyi district court of Zhytomyr region has began
According to the decision dated May 9, 2023, № 483/0/15-23, the HCJ announced the beginning of the procedure for seconding judges to another court of the same level and specialization to administer justice, in particular, in particular: to the Olevskyi district court of Zhytomyr region – one judge.
Judges who expressed the wish to be seconded to mentioned court should submit to the High Council of Justice within ten days (from the date of the announcement of the beginning of the procedure for seconding judges) necessary documents. The list of the documents is here.
