
HCJ grants consent to detention of judge of Pidhaitsi District Court of Ternopil Oblast
On November 2, 2025, the HCJ granted consent to the detention of a judge of the Pidhaitsi District Court of Ternopil Oblast.
The decision was made following the consideration of the relevant submission by Deputy Prosecutor General Mariia Vdovychenko.
HCJ submits to President of Ukraine proposals on appointment of 12 judges to appellate courts
- Vitalii Valeriiovych Kalnyk – to the position of judge of the Third Appellate Administrative Court;
- Roman Valeriiovych Militsianov – to the position of judge of the Western Appellate Commercial Court;
- Olena Oleksandrivna Osipova – to the position of judge of the Sixth Appellate Administrative Court;
- Oksana Vasylivna Priadko – to the position of judge of the Western Appellate Commercial Court;
- Ivan Ihorovych Tarnovetskyi – to the position of judge of the Fifth Appellate Administrative Court;
- Yuliia Vitaliivna Feshchenko – to the position of judge of the Central Appellate Commercial Court;
- Diana Dmytrivna Hnap – to the position of judge of the Seventh Appellate Administrative Court;
- Tetiana Yuriivna Demchyna – to the position of judge of the Central Appellate Commercial Court;
- Vadym Petrovych Ivanov – to the position of judge of the Northern Appellate Commercial Court;
- Vitalina Oleksandrivna Kushnir – to the position of judge of the Eighth Appellate Administrative Court;
- Petro Teodorovych Maniuk – to the position of judge of the Western Appellate Commercial Court;
- Nataliia Valentynivna Savytska – to the position of judge of the Seventh Appellate Administrative Court.
Activity of HCJ Secretariat in figures for January–October 2025
During the first three quarters of 2025, the staff of the HCJ Secretariat:
- processed 4953 citizens’ appeals and 978 information requests;
- prepared 8435 cover letters for sending copies of HCJ acts and acts of its bodies, issued 12090 copies of acts of the HCJ, its bodies and members, and edited 23907 pages of draft HCJ documents;
On the official HCJ website, there were published: 5908 acts of the HCJ, 2317 other documents, 575 news and announcements.
In the HCJ social media, 1321 information materials were posted.
In the “Press Center” section on the “Judicial Power of Ukraine” web portal, 2548 information materials were published.
The HCJ telephone hotline at (044) 481-06-26 received 2006 calls from citizens, who were provided with consultations and reference information within the HCJ’s competence.
HCJ temporarily suspends judge of Pidhaitsi District Court of Ternopil Oblast from administering justice
On November 6, 2025, the HCJ temporarily, until January 1, 2026, suspended a judge of the Pidhaitsi District Court of Ternopil Oblast from administering justice in connection with being brought to criminal liability.
The decision was made following the consideration of the relevant motion by Deputy Prosecutor General Mariia Vdovychenko.
Two judges dismissed on resignation
On November 6, 2025, the HCJ decided to dismiss in connection with the submission of resignation statements:
- Borys Ivanovych Hulka – from the position of judge of the Supreme Court;
- Yevheniia Volodymyrivna Stratiy – from the position of judge of the Oleksandrivskyi District Court of the city of Zaporizhzhia.
HCJ: During martial law, open access to judges’ dossiers poses security risks to judges and their families
The High Council of Justice adopted a decision to address the President of Ukraine, people’s deputies of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a proposal to submit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft law on temporary restriction of public access to information contained in judges’ dossiers, as well as in declarations of family ties and integrity of judges and candidates for the position of judge for the period of martial law in Ukraine.
