The Chairman of the High Council of Justice, Hryhorii Usyk, expressed gratitude to the European Union for its long-term, diverse support to Ukraine, in particular for expert and technical assistance to the judiciary in the process of its approximation to European standards. He also thanked the EU Project “Pravo-Justice” for its assistance in implementing numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening the independence, impartiality and accountability of the judiciary, as well as restoring public trust in it.
Hryhorii Usyk noted that the transfer of computer equipment and server hardware to the Service of Disciplinary Inspectors of the High Council of Justice is another example of effective cooperation with the European Union and the Project “Pravo-Justice”.
This equipment is a significant contribution to ensuring the efficient and high-quality work of the newly created Service. This is especially valuable that both methodological and material support were provided at a difficult time for Ukraine. It will help to improve the level of technical support for the members of the HCJ and employees of the Service of Disciplinary Inspectors, especially in the context of the resumption of consideration of cases of disciplinary liability of judges.

He also expressed satisfaction that the EU Project “Pravo-Justice” managed to support the activities of the High Council of Justice by providing modern computer equipment. According to Tomas Stravinskas, the new technical equipment will help to improve work processes and enhance the quality of work of the inspectors.
