
The High Council of Justice addresses judges, retired judges, all employees of bodies of the justice system and Ukrainian citizens, who are witnesses of war crimes of the Russian Federation against civilians and other crimes, with the call to record and send such evidence to official state resources to gain victory in the legal area.
As the Prosecutor General’s Office informs, to use evidence in the International Criminal Court in Hague, in Ukrainian courts, and also during potential special international tribunals, it is necessary to gather and draw them up responsibly and qualified in accordance with international standards.
That is why, for the right accumulation and documentation of important information about enemy’s crimes, a unified resource was developed, a kind of evidence hub, with which law-enforcement agencies and state authorities work - warcrimes.gov.ua
This platform united efforts of law-enforcement agencies, experts, representatives of public and international organizations, journalists and all who want to help and record murders of civilians and other crimes of the Russian Federation on our soil.

Currently, 39 countries appealed to the International Criminal Court with the call to investigate a situation in Ukraine. Partner countries opened their own criminal proceedings according to their national legislation and will assist in gathering evidence from witnesses, forced refugees from Ukraine, who experienced the horror of war, noted the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Tribunal.ua notes that to record a crime you need to take out a camera and start recording:
1. Your own face and say your name and surname, date, time and exact place of recording (geolocation)
2. Evidence of injured or suffered with notifying name and surname and date of birth, contact details (address, phone number)
3. Details of damaged property (buildings, vehicles, other property)
4. Enemy’s details (machinery, enemy’s weapon, its movement, personal data)
What to record?
1. Evidence of murder and violence of civilians or military persons:
- murders
- torture (beating, rape, mutilation)
- hostage-taking or captivity
2. Evidence of usage of weapon and military machinery of Russian Federation:
- shelling from small arms, artillery or air
- usage of a firearm
- movement or usage of military machinery
3. Evidence of robbery, seizure and destruction of property of civilians and the state:
- appropriation and destruction of property, vehicle, fuel
- destruction of cultural monuments
4. Enemy’s personal data:
- personal data, documents, passports
- call signs and pseudonyms
- identification marks
