The Chairman of the High Council of Justice Hryhorii Usyk on behalf of the entire composition of the High Council of Justice congratulated the newly appointed members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine who successfully passed all the stages of the competition.
He noted that the work in the restored body of the judicial governance will be no less difficult challenging than the competition itself.
“The judiciary and society put their hope on you for the renewal of the judicial corps. Such tasks are set before the HQCJ as the selection of judges, qualification assessment and conducting competitions for appellate judges and the High Court on Intellectual Property,” said the head of the HCJ.
Hryhorii Usyk noted that the fulfillment of these tasks will require self-sacrifice. At the same time, taking into account the qualities confirmed by the contestants, which were the selection criteria – integrity, professional competence, political neutrality, professional and life paths, previous work experience and the ability to work in a team – these give confidence that the new composition of the HQCJ of Ukraine will be able to overcome the challenges that appeared before them.
The members of the High Council of Justice promised their newly elected colleagues to assist in establishing their work and wished them productive activity in restoring trust and authority in the judiciary.
