The HCJ resumed the automated distribution of cases (except for disciplinary complaints)

23.01.2023

On January 23, 2023, the High Council of Justice decided to resume the automated distribution of cases that were pending by consideration of dismissed from their offices members of the Council, as well as the distribution of cases (materials) received after February 22, 2022 (except for complaints about disciplinary misdemeanour of a judge and complaints about decision on bringing a judge or prosecutor to disciplinary responsibility), between current members.

The Regulation on the Automated Case Distribution System establishes the procedure for the functioning of the automated system for determining a member of the High Council of Justice – the rapporteur in the exercise of his powers. In case of dismissal of a member of the HCJ, the cases distributed to this member are subject to automated redistribution.

It should be reminded that in order to prevent violation of the current legislation requirements (after implementing of the service of disciplinary inspectors), by the decision of the High Council of Justice of August 5, 2021 No. 1809/0/15-21 it was stopped distribution of disciplinary complaints, as well as complaints against the decision on bringing to disciplinary responsibility judge or prosecutor.
