
In the letter to the President of the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary Filippo Donati, the President of the Judicial Council of the Republic of Slovenia, Supreme Court senior judge Vladimir Horvat noted that the Council expressed full support of the joint Statement of the Network of Presidents of Supreme Courts of the European Union and the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary regarding the severe breach of the international law and aggressive act of war committed by the russian federation against Ukraine.

It should be reminded, that in response to the appeal of the Acting Chairman of the HCJ Viktor Hryshchuk, the Network of Presidents of Supreme Courts of the European Union and the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary in their statement noted the strong condemnation of the severe breach of international law and aggressive act of war committed by the russian federation against Ukraine.
They appeal for a return to civil forms of debate in accordance with international law, respecting human rights, the principles of democracy and the rule of law.
