On October 6, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., the official meeting of the Selection Commission for the selection of candidates for the positions of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (HQCJ) members will be held.
During the meeting, will be approved for participation in the competition the list of candidates, based on the results of document members verification for compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges". The official meeting will be broadcast online on the official website of the High Council of Justice, and the Commission's official channels - Facebook and YouTube in Ukrainian and English.
The list of the candidates admitted to the competition for the positions of the HQCJ members will be published on the official website of the High Council of Justice based on the results of the meeting.
We remind you that the continuation of judicial reform is an important component of Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Even in the conditions of military aggression, Ukraine is doing everything possible to ensure the formation of the most important institution of judiciary responsible for staffing the courts of Ukraine - the Higher Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. According to the results of the public competition, the Selection Commission will select 32 candidates from among those admitted to the competition who have at least 15 years of experience in the field of law and meet the criteria of integrity and professional competence. The High Council of Justice will appoint 16 members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges from the 32 final candidates.
