On November 16, 2023, the Congress of representatives of higher education and research institutions in the area of law elected Oksana Oleksandrivna Kvasha to the position of member of the High Council of Justice.
Kvasha Oksana Oleksandrivna – Scientific Secretary of the Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.
She has been working at the Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine since 1996.
Areas of scientific activity: problems of criminal law and criminology.
The High Council of Justice consists of twenty-one members, two of whom shall be elected by the Congress of representatives of higher education and research institutions in the area of law.
In should be reminded that on August 19, 2022, Dmytro Vasylovych Lukianov was elected a member of the High Council of Justice by the Congress.
Thus, the Congress quota is filled. Currently, the High Council of Justice consists of 17 members.
