Ukraine is an example of indomitable struggle for freedom and democracy

24.03.2022

For a month now, the indomitable struggle of the Ukrainian people for their land, freedom and sovereignty of Ukraine, democracy and the rule of law throughout the world has been going on.

We have experienced a month of heroic days and nights in the fight against the terrorist putin’s regime. The world since World War II has not encountered such a murderous ideology and has not seen such large-scale inhuman cruelty. The enemy destroys peaceful Ukrainian cities, houses, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, churches, theaters, museums. The aggressor shoots civilians; the invaders have already killed more than 120 children. The war claimed the lives of many Ukrainians.

However, the enemy did not get the wish. Thanks to the self-sacrifice and courage of our soldiers and the solidarity of all Ukrainians, putin’s plan to seize Kyiv in a matter of days and change the leadership of our state to a puppet has failed. The enemy’s advance was stopped. Not only the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Police and the territorial defense, but also all our people stood up to defend Ukraine. Heroes are not only people, but also cities that stop the horde.

The invaders suffer heavy losses. From February 24 to March 23, 2022, our troops destroyed more than 15 600 occupiers, including at least six generals, including two army commanders, 517 tanks, 1 570 armoured combat vehicles, 267 artillery systems and 80 MLRS, “landed” 101 aircraft, 124 helicopters and 42 UAVs, sank 4 warships, liquidated 47 air defense systems, destroyed 1008 Russian vehicles, 70 tanks with fuel and lubricants and 15 units of special equipment.

Raging over defeat, the rushists commit war crimes and crimes against humanity. On March 23, 2022, the United States Government declared the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine a war crime based on an analysis of the facts collected.

Having treacherously burst into Ukraine with weapons, Russia crossed out its future. This country with a dictatorial regime disgusts the free citizens around the world.  Governments of countries are imposing sanctions to weaken Russia. An international trial such as the Nuremberg Tribunal over the war criminal Putin was initiated. Almost 240 international companies left the RF’s market. Russia was shamefully expelled from the Council of Europe and suspended from work in the Danube Commission. More than 70 world organizations have refused cultural cooperation with the occupying state. The aggressor must be in complete isolation from the civilized world.

We are grateful for the help of each country. However, we emphasize the need for more resolute and large-scale actions by international partners capable of protecting peaceful cities, stopping the war, restoring Ukraine’s territorial integrity, punishing Putin’s war criminals and compensating all the losses caused by the aggressor.

Ukraine is indomitable. We are steadfast in the struggle for freedom and democracy. The world must not submit to a tyrant either. Together we win!
