This is not just a war for territory, ideology; this is a large-scale ideological conflict.
In Ukraine, absolute respect for law and democracy, European standards in public policy, implementation of all international agreements, guarantees of civil liberties for every person. This is millennial legal tradition (Rus`ka Pravda), glorious history, profound cultural meanings, and high morality.
The muscovite dictator, tyrant, aggressor and subordinated terrorists seek to destroy all these civilizational values by bombing Ukrainian schools, kindergartens, hospitals, churches, residential buildings with civilians, shooting ambulances, evacuation trains, and making humanitarian passages impossible.
However, the enemy does not know who met. Honor and dignity of Ukrainians are higher than fear for their own lives. Even when the tanks entered the city, it is impossible to enslave the consciousness of the Ukrainian people – they come out unarmed and sing the Anthem to push back the occupiers.
On the enemy side is an aggressive murderous ideology, misanthropy, meanness, baseness, terrible war crimes.
On our side there are the will and freedom in the blood, heroism, unity, brotherhood, mutual assistance, responsibility for neighboring countries, high spirituality, truth and light. Our Warriors, who have no equal anywhere in the world, are with us.
We very much hope that the leaders of the leading states understand that it is currently in Ukraine is being decided which values will dominate the world in the future. There is no time to think about which side to choose. The choice is obvious – to support Ukraine, which has become the shield of Europe.
By closing the airspace over Ukraine to Russian aircraft and missiles, Western countries will help themselves first and foremost. After all, Ukrainians heroically stood up not only to defend their homeland; they defend European values, civil rights and interests of neighboring countries. Ukraine is courageously fighting for the existence of civilization, for the principles of international law to operate and the borders of all countries to remain inviolable, for the force of law to prevail, and not the law of force. This is to prevent the world from being engulfed by a nuclear catastrophe.
Ukraine’s victory is a victory of the whole world; therefore the whole world must demonstrate a real interest in this victory and consolidate all possible efforts to bring it closer. Crimes against humanity have no borders.
